  11. I am thinking of buying a sportster 28.8VI modem. Does anyone have any
  12. opinions on this modem. I have seen many articles in this group
  13. complaining about tech problems with various USR modems. I have been
  14. using a no-name (Technology Concepts, INC. Linelink 144e) modem for 2
  15. years and it done OK for the money. Procomm plus thought it was always
  16. off hook and it only has one light for RD and SD (It's called IO).Is
  17. the sportster 28.8Vi a good buy? What about the voice mail, is it any
  18. good? I am looking for good throughput, but I can't afford a courier.
